This 12 story tall apartment building is the first high-rise building undertaken by construction technology specialist Prescient, and their tallest structure to date.
University Station is a six-storey development providing one and two-bedroom apartments for affordable senior living in South Denver.
The building provides 60 units of rental housing and 2,500 sq. ft. of community room over a 75,000 sq. ft. of space.
It was designed by Beck Architecture and developed by Mile High Development, LLC and Koelbel and Company.
University Station’s decking comprises CemDeck over a steel frame.
CemDeck is a non-combustible structural fiber cement board which has been specially developed for use in fire-rated decking assemblies. It provides excellent load bearing performance, with UL listed floor assemblies. An interlocking tongue-and-groove ensures solid joining and uniform loading across supports. More about CemDeck.
