Join the USAP team in Orlando for A’17, the AIA Conference on Architecture

The US Architectural Products team will be Orlando, Florida from April 27-29 for A’17, the AIA Conference on Architecture 2017.

USAP will be on booth 3234 throughout the event to demonstrate the latest intelligent building materials for non-combustible construction.

Innovative solutions and assemblies from USAP incorporate products such as the specialist non-combustible structural decking board CemDeck, and the fire-resistant structural cement-bonded particle board Versaroc.

CEO Simon MacDonald said: “Interest in code-compliant materials for light gauge steel projects is at an all-time high, for everything from multi-story residential, dormitories and assisted living facilities to schools, hotels, hospitals, correctional facilities, airports and more.

“The AIA Conference on Architecture is a unique opportunity for us to discuss these requirements directly with the design professionals who are shaping the US built environment.

“As well as being significantly faster and lighter than poured concrete construction, our intelligent structural board solutions deliver the non-combustibility and fire-resistance, load bearing, durability and environmental impacts which are essential to so many of today’s commercial and multi-residential projects.

“And as well as outstanding products and game-changing value, we’ve also got plenty of innovative new solutions to share with the sector, such as a new 1 hour UL listed assembly for CemDeck which has been updated with the latest site-relevant materials.”

The AIA Conference on Architecture is one of the largest annual gatherings of architects and design professionals in the United States. Over three days, leading architects, firms and building product manufacturers will share inspiration, ideas and new technologies.

This year’s event will feature more than 500 expert led sessions, 60 local architecture tours and more than 800 building materials and products.
